Drawn from three of Nashville's most talked about bands, Dixie Whiskey have made their presence felt ever since forming in May, 2007. Jon Decious and Bob Ferrari of The Pink Spiders(Geffen Records), Dillon Napier of The Outlaw Lovers(Spat! Records), and Caitln Rose of Save Macauley the Band(Theory 8 Records) round out the line-up for this all-star country rock quartet. Immediately after forming, the gang went straight into the studio to record an 8 song E.P., entitled "Honky Dory", which is set for release this year.

The public got their first taste of Dixie Whiskey only two weeks after the bands inception. To a packed room of Nashvillians (talk about a tough crowd), Dixie Whiskey belted out rockin' country songs all inspired by 'hard drinkin' and easy women' that left the audience begging for an encore.

With their brand of "y'allternative country" inspired by the likes of Gram Parsons, The Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Johnny Cash; Dixie Whiskey are primed to deliver country music with none of the guilt. Yeehaw!
