Sometimes solo, sometimes with a band of old friends, sawgrass is the
musical project of James Moore formed in 2006. Influenced by both
singer songwriters such as Bill Mallonee and Mark Kozelek and bands
such as Karate, Death Cab for Cutie, sawgrass strives to create
guitar driven, narrative songs that combine diverse musical tastes.
With the invaluable help of producer Rogers Masson, sawgrass finished
recording their first album, "The Archipelago" in March 2007.  With
music that draws you into its carefully constructed lyrics, sawgrass
is not to be missed.
